STYLE INSPIRATION: MARILYN MONROE

     Do you guys love Marilyn Monroe as much as I do? When I was a teenager I collected pinup calendars of her! I would tear out the pages and tape them all over my bedroom walls! I still admire her so much and I own about every single movie she was in and can sing along to any of her songs! Do any of you guys have a favorite film that starred her? My top favorites would have to be Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and How To Marry A Millionaire. 

     Speaking of her movies, have any of you guys seen The Misfits? It was one of the second to last movies that she starred in. There was a cherry print dress that she wore in it and it was one of the most beautiful dresses that I have ever seen! To this very day I am always on the lookout for a dress like that. 

     Luckily, we just got in at the shop a gently up cycled dress reminiscent of Marilyn's cherry dress! Although it may not be an exact replica, this dress boasts some serious M. Monroe vibes! Adorned with bright red cherries, it offers a full skirt and has comfortable wide straps offset by a pleated collar. We only have one of these dresses so if you're a size 2XL, you're in luck!
